    March 30, 2021 3 min read

Elegance is the only beauty that never fades. This month, we had the pleasure of interviewing Vivian Rodriguez from Liv By Viv, a midsize fashion blogger, podcaster, and educational psychologist who aims to empower women of all sizes and ages. Read more to find out about Vivian's journey in finding her voice and what she hopes to accomplish through her platform.

Please tell us a little bit about yourself and what you do!

Sure, I’m in educational psychology, fashion blogger, and podcaster who started her blog and podcast right after her 40th birthday. My blog features affordable fashion for women with curves, creating, life, and mental health. I want to have a space to feature styles are women that look like me. Also, I want to inspire other women to create content regardless of their age.

What is the main goal that you would like to accomplish with your platform, Liv by Viv?

I think that the real goal is to be seen and heard and represent women that are full-figured.  We as women are typically confined to different categories that are imposed by society. Likewise, I think also just wanted a space to cover topics that women all talk about. I wanted it to be a space for style and substance. Although we might have topics that are difficult, I aim to inspire my readers and give them a sense of joy when they go to the site.

"The less I worried about what others thought, the better my content got."

Q What is the biggest lesson you have learned through your journey with Liv by Viv?

I feel like the biggest lesson I’ve learned is to fully just show up with all parts of myself. The things I worry about are the things I celebrate.  Also, I feel like through that I’ve been able to connect with more women or women relate to me and the topics that are on the site.  They connect with the styles that I feature.  Really just I think just being in touch with yourself and then just putting that out there unapologetically. The less I worried about what others thought, the better my content got. Similarly, my readers have become more engaged as a result and share their own stories. It’s a positive and purposeful cycle! Lastly, creating content for 4 1/2 years has shown me the power of creating something out of nothing. You can’t beat that!
