To start off, we have Kelsie from @idahomeliving talking about how she shares her story through her Instagram platform. Read more to learn about her tips and tricks on becoming a successful influencer. 

Q   Tell us a little bit about yourself and your interests

A    My name is Kelsie and I live in beautiful SW Idaho. My husband and I have been married for 7 years and we have two sweet babies, Waverly who is three, and Brody who is 9 months. We live for a good outdoor adventure, savory food and time spent together as a family.

Q    What inspires you and what is the message behind your Instagram page?

A  I am a part-time photographer and a full-time mommy, so obviously I can't keep my camera off my babies. I began our @IdahomeLiving account as a way to support small shops, a show of photos of my darling kiddos, and inspire other mama's to live life "their kind of perfect."

Q  What do you like most about Thread Tank?

A  I LOVE the fit of Thread Tanks and all the awesome designs.  The fit is just the right amount of fitted to not look frumpy, but perfect amount of baggy to hide any "mom bod issues." I honestly had trouble picking a favorite design because there are so many awesome ones, but I have to go for the Idaho Roots tee....because you know, #IdaHome.

Q  If you were to give some advice on being an Instagram influencer, what would you say is something that keeps you motivated and does you have any tips and tricks for growth?

A  Oh boy, honestly Instagram is my creative outlet. It allows me to post whatever I want, a show of my kiddos and just be me. Engagement and creating relationships through the squares is what keeps me motivated. When trying to generate growth and get noticed I have two main suggestions.

1.) Be consistent. Post somewhat regularly (doesn't have to be every day), make your feed feel cohesive and flow smoothly with your style and set your voice/tone behind your page. People want to follow REAL people, so be genuine in your voice.

2.)  Collaborate. Work with like-minded individuals and brands. If they show you off to their followers, then people are more likely to go to your page to see what you are all about. Collaborate with brands that fit your style, with like-minded people (mama's in my case) who would attract a similar target audience, and engage with their followers. Growth so often comes from relationship building, both in real life and in the Insta world. I give a huge piece of my growth success to Carrie @sweet_as_april. She has been my number one supporter and it has done wonders for my growth. Carrie will tell you that a huge starting boost to her growth came from @RyanandRose....so the cycle continues. Collaborations can completely change your audience.

Q  We love that you were able to find your story within our designs. If you were to give a title to your life STORY, what would it be and why?

A  Idahome Living. Sounds cliche right? But a lot of thought went into my name, I wanted it to tell the story of who we are before you even read into my content, my life story. I am an Idahoan at heart, we moved to Texas shortly after starting our family and I felt so lost, so misfit and out of my element. Moving back to Idaho was my dream come true. I'm now raising my babies with the man of my dreams in the land where all my dreams started. Idaho lets my old soul wander, my adventure get lost and my desire for a wholesome living to come true.  I look at the landscape daily and I see God's beauty pouring out, reminding me that He's in control, He is my hope and He has blessed me greatly.
