  • A Story of Running with Purpose: Stephanie's Marathon of Mind Over Matter...And This is the Story She Wears

    January 11, 2024 2 min read

"The physical excursion is a brief moment compared to how awesome I'll feel knowing I accomplished something."

When it comes to pushing ourselves to achieve something, or even just to take on the stresses of everyday life, one thing is for sure: it can be a challenging road. As Stephanie, also known as @stephaniegailreads, will tell you, it's all about having the right mindset.

Stephanie has always been a reader, but like many of us, life eventually got in the way. It wasn't until a couple of years ago that she picked up a book and reignited her passion for reading. Now, she's not only an avid reader, but a runner as well - and she's currently training for another half marathon. As she puts it,

"It's amazing what our bodies can do."

But Stephanie's attitude towards life doesn't just come from her love of running and reading. She's also a wife and a mother, and it was through these experiences that she began to overcome her own self-doubt and appreciate what she was truly capable of. As she says,

    "There's nothing you cannot do."

Stephanie lives her life with a positive outlook on everything - from taking on a never-ending TBR list to running a race, to simply facing the stresses of everyday life. And while she's been lucky enough to not face any negativity or criticism as an influencer, she knows that it's her positive mindset that will always keep her going.

So, what's Stephanie's secret? It's all about the mindset. As she says, "Mind over matter." The mental game is just as important as the physical one, whether you're training for a race or taking on life's challenges. But with the right attitude and a little bit of determination, there's nothing you can't accomplish.

And as for Stephanie's favorite book to bring on a soul-searching adventure? Anything by Kristin Hannah. So why not take a page out of her book - both literally and figuratively - and start exploring the world with a positive mindset and a good book in hand? After all, with the right mindset, anything is possible.
